Andrew D. Acuna
Master's Level Practicum Student
Supervised by Ami Evans LPC-S
With a background in pastoral ministry and 10 years of experience providing pastoral counseling, Andrew brings a compassionate and grounded presence to his work with clients. His journey has included walking alongside individuals through seasons of spiritual want, life transitions, and emotional pain, and it’s from that foundation that he approaches counseling with empathy, insight, and hope.
Currently pursuing his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, he is completing his practicum at AE Counseling under the supervision of Ami Evans. His goal is to create a safe, supportive space for individuals to explore their stories, reclaim their voice, and move toward healing and growth—especially those navigating issues of faith, identity, and emotional resilience.
Andrew believes deeply in the power of connection and the importance of honoring each person’s unique path. He is committed to integrating clinical excellence with a trauma-informed, person-centered approach that respects the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
