Ami Evans, LPC-Supervisor

Clinical Director & Owner

I founded AECG, because I have a vision and passion for people of all backgrounds and experiences seeking to be a better version of themselves and not allow the past define who they are becoming and are committed to the process to achieve growth and transformation. I enjoy teaching and mentoring, which is why I decided to become a group practice and supervisor. Helping counselors grow and develop into their unique gifting and strengths is another capacity I serve.

I live in this great community of Grapevine, with my husband of 11 years, and a bonus mom of 2 young men and almost empty-nesters. My niche and "sweet spot" is serving and educating marriage and family issues. I want to help couples and families achieve restoration and a deeper connection. My approach is to connect with people where they are in their relationships, trials, transitions of life, and offer counsel that improves perspective and hope. Connect with me to begin your road to healing and growth.

I currently work full-time in ministry, developing meaningful relationships with young adults. When I'm not working, most of my time is devoted to Crossfit and training for upcoming competitions. I never thought I would become passionate about something like weightlifting, but I enjoy every second of it and thrive off the competitive atmosphere. For as long as I can remember, my greatest passion in life has been to help people overcome the battles life presents them with. Specifically, I love helping people who have experienced trauma, whether it be emotionally, physically, or spiritually. I strive to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which individuals can be supported in their efforts to change and grow. I'm here to help and look forward to hearing from you!

I'm a mom of 2 beautiful boys. From small town in east Texas - Marshall. I enjoy fitness, travel, beach, shopping, hanging with friends. I am especially interested in working with individuals who have difficulty in relating to others, those who deal with depression, anxiety, and emotional wounds. I am passionate about navigating others through traumatic life experiences. I love helping them create their own plan of action, using the tools that they are given through therapy. I know that with my guidance, education, and training, you will lead a more fulfilling life.
